Lance Philips

Hi, I'm Lance. As Associate Pastor at Bethel Community Church, I am primarily responsible for serving the overall vision of the church. I have a passion to see people's lives transformed by the power of God and walking in their destiny.

Basic Stuff:
My wife Deanna and I were married June 30, 2001.  We have four children: Darcy, Audry, Zoe and Lawson.

We moved here in August 2004 to help Pastor Mike and Christy start Bethel–Clarksville, a satellite congregation of what was then Bethel World Outreach Center.

One interesting fact about me is that I am a former high school and college football and baseball player. My junior and senior year of high school, my football team won back-to-back state championships. I was the QB and we were 30-0. Life Scripture:
"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it unto subjection, lest, when I have preached to others. I myself should become disqualified" (1 Corinthians 9:24-27).
